It adapts the story arc of the White Snake Sake Brewery Murder Case from the Returns Series. In these episodes, Hajime Kindaichi, Miyuki Nanase, and Inspector Kenmochi came to Hakuja Village to chase the fugitive murderer. There they meet the suspicious black-masked man, but later, he is found dead at Shiragami's Shirohebi Sake Brewery Cellar, and his condition resembles the curse of the White Snake.
