Six months after the explosions at the Fukushima nuclear plant and the release of radiation there, Professor Jim Al-Khalili sets out to discover whether nuclear power is safe. He begins in Japan, where he meets some of the tens of thousands of people who have been evacuated from the exclusion zone. He travels to an abandoned village just outside the zone to witness a nuclear clean-up operation. Jim draws on the latest scientific findings from Japan and from the previous explosion at Chernobyl to understand how dangerous the release of radiation is likely to be and what that means for our trust in nuclear power.
Playback servers
Subflix keeps extra fallback servers tucked away by default, and if one stalls it will still try the next available option.
Now playing
Strong fallback server when you want a second path ready without leaving the page.
If the provider's own fullscreen button throws an error, use Subflix fullscreen or open the player in its own tab.
Playback mode
Playback continues in a dedicated viewer designed to keep the watch experience simple and steady.
Cast And Share
These providers run inside an external iframe, so the most reliable casting flow is to open the player in its own tab and use your browser or device cast controls there.
